Heroes of the Pass Nominations

Do you know a real local hero – an ordinary person who has exhibited extraordinary courage, kindness or selflessness in helping others during a local emergency during the past few years?

The American Red Cross El Paso is calling for nominations of local heroes for its 2007 Heroes of the Pass Awards event. The deadline for nominations is May 31 , and the awards luncheon will be held in June. Nominations are accepted in one of nine categories for people living or working in El Paso, Hudspeth or Culberson counties.

A hero can be someone who bravely acts in a time of immediate need or someone who simply lives his or her life in a way that shows they have compassion for those around them. If selected as a finalist, your nominee and you will be invited to attend the event at no charge.
